八十二長野銀行 and 富山第一銀行 announced on the 30th that they would enter into a comprehensive business alliance. The alliance is named the Northern Alps Regional Co-Creation Partnership.
As part of the alliance, the banks also announced that 富山第一銀行 had formally decided to migrate to the core banking system developed by 八十二長野銀行. The two banks will work together to support the growth of regional companies and expand the exchange population.
Specific initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be considered by working groups established within the relevant departments of both banks. While maintaining their management independence and customer bases, the banks aim to cooperate in sales activities in a manner similar to the Fujisan-Alps Alliance.
The broad trading areas served by the two banks differ, with 八十二長野銀行 covering the Kanto and Chukyo regions and 富山第一銀行 covering the Chukyo and Kansai regions. However, they face common regional challenges, including population decline and business succession.
