At Accelerate Tokyo 2026, hosted by IBM Japan, Straker Japan said that using AI to communicate corporate information would be key to attracting overseas investors. The company said it would improve the speed and quality of disclosure through SwiftBridge AI and AI Dubbing, and aims to deliver materials within 1 business day going forward.
Straker Japan spoke at Accelerate Tokyo 2026, an event hosted by IBM Japan on 7 October 2026, and pointed out that communications centered on AI would be key to attracting overseas investors. Mr. Sawaby said that, as advances in generative AI have significantly reduced translation costs, communicating a company’s story has become important. He explained that Straker had strengthened its partnership with IBM and overhauled its platform.
As AI agents take over routine tasks, employees will need to shift toward areas such as decision-making and accountability. The company said that the pace of production releases had increased from once every four weeks 6 months ago to around 5 feature releases per day. It emphasized that the factors behind the faster development pace were changes in products, tools and mindsets, rather than technology itself.
The event introduced SwiftBridge AI, an AI platform specializing in English-language IR disclosures, and AI Dubbing, a multilingualization tool. SwiftBridge AI was proposed as a solution to eliminate the time lag in producing English-language disclosures for Japanese companies. Using the small language model Tiri, the platform aims to shorten the preparation period from the previous 7–10 business days.
Straker explained that communicating a company’s story, not merely translating financial figures, is important for attracting global investors. A demonstration at Think 2026, in which an English-language presentation was converted into a Japanese-language video, drew considerable attention. The company indicated its intention to support Japanese companies’ global expansion and value creation through SwiftBridge AI and AI Dubbing.
