CREATE SD HOLDINGS announced its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2027. Revenue increased 6.5% year on year, while operating profit declined 4.1%, as higher personnel expenses and land rent weighed on profit.
According to CREATE SD HOLDINGS' results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2027, revenue was ¥129.54 billion, operating profit was ¥5.404 billion, ordinary profit was ¥5.63 billion, and net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥3.788 billion. Merchandise sales at the drugstore business remained firm, with same-store sales exceeding the prior-year level. The respective year-on-year changes were an increase of 6.5%, declines of 4.1%, 4.7% and 5.2%.
By department, sales of pharmaceuticals and food increased, while sales at dispensing pharmacies rose 14.0%, daily necessities increased 4.1% and cosmetics increased 1.7%. In particular, the supermarket business recorded a 195.5% increase in revenue to ¥2.153 billion, supported by the acquisition of Yaofuku as a subsidiary in June.
