Apple has made Siri AI available in Japanese and expanded its new features and multilingual support with the 27.2 update. Siri AI uses personal context understanding and Visual Intelligence, and is designed with privacy as its top priority.
Siri AI is now available in Japanese as the new Siri, and the 27.2 software update also adds support for French, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Siri AI can find relevant information in Messages, email and Photos, and enables more natural conversations through expanded on-screen recognition and in-app actions.
Built on Apple Intelligence, Siri AI presents relevant information based on its understanding of personal context and can perform tasks by working with existing apps such as WhatsApp and Audible.
Visual Intelligence is being integrated into Siri mode on iPhone as well as iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro, enabling users to ask questions about and interact with information on the screen and objects around them.
The new features are supported by Apple Intelligence’s architecture, which combines on-device processing with Private Cloud. The system is designed with privacy protection as a core principle.
