On 21 October, a joint study session with TKC Tohoku Association was held at Sendai Bank’s head office. It was attended by 34 relationship managers and 18 accounting-firm employees qualified as field auditors, for a total of 52 participants. The aim was to strengthen collaboration and improve the quality of support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The session presented plans to establish a consultation framework through the development of face-to-face relationships and link this to support tailored to the management issues of each company.
Yoshida Yu (吉田祐), a supervisor in the Local Business Support Department, and field auditor Sakurai Rio (櫻井里勇) each introduced their daily workflow and emphasized the need to collaborate with TKC on consultations from business partners and post-loan follow-up.
According to Negishi Yuta (根岸祐太), joint study sessions conducted by field auditors and financial institutions are a first for the Tohoku region and are also considered unusual as an example of collaboration nationwide.
