i-plug, which operates the new graduate offer-based job-hunting service OfferBox, acquired all shares of Renew, the operator of the long-term internship job site Renew, making it a wholly owned subsidiary and bringing it into the group effective 1 October 2026.
株式会社i-plug completed the acquisition of all shares of Renew and brought it into the group as a wholly owned subsidiary to strengthen its long-term internship business. This will create an integrated structure combining OfferBox and Renew to provide career education and opportunities for undergraduate students in their early years of university. The group entry is intended to integrate support for early self-understanding and practical work experience across both services.
Renew operates a job site for long-term internships, providing services from the preparation stage of job hunting through company applications, receiving offers from companies and consultations with career advisers. With Renew joining the i-plug group, collaboration between Renew's practical work opportunities and i-plug's OfferBox series is expected to strengthen, expanding the value provided to students in the early years of university.
Going forward, the companies will deepen collaboration between OfferBox mirai and Renew, integrate the long-term internship content provided by Renew to enhance career experiences, and strengthen member acquisition through collaboration with Renew Magazine. The companies aim to provide consistent support from the early stages of job hunting through the period after receiving a job offer.
The release stated that the impact on consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2027 would be minor.
