Oshu City announced that 日本管財株式会社, a group company of NIPPON KANZAI Holdings Co.,Ltd., had been selected as the preferred negotiating party following an open proposal process. The contract is expected to cover a total of 12 city-owned facilities, including the city hall, general branch offices, nurseries and certified childcare centres, and to provide integrated management of maintenance and inspections, repairs, security, cleaning and playground-equipment inspections. Oshu City and 日本管財 will now proceed with discussions in preparation for a formal contract.
The contract is expected to begin on 1 April 2027 and run for five years, through 31 March 2032. 日本管財 has provided facility management and operations services, including comprehensive management, nationwide, but is expected to undertake its first contract in the Tohoku region. After commencement, information sharing is planned through a 24-hour, 365-day contact centre, a permanently staffed office in the city and the digitisation of inspection and repair records.
