Workman has developed “Athle Shoes Turbulence,” waterproof sneakers designed for all-weather, everyday use. They feature waterproofing to approximately 4 cm above the ground-contact surface, a design that helps reduce stuffiness and a lightweight construction.
Workman has developed new waterproof sneakers, “Athle Shoes Turbulence,” designed for everyday wear. The company explains the structural and design features intended to balance waterproofing and comfort for walking in the rain around town.
As an issue with previous waterproof shoes, the company cites the tendency for full-surface waterproof films to increase stuffiness and weight. This time, the upper has been treated for high water repellency so that it repels rain. The company says it has added reduced stuffiness and everyday wearability as new value propositions.
The previous model, “Athle Shoes Storm Runner,” used hook-and-loop fasteners covering the instep, but this model has changed to a lace-up design. The emphasis is on making the shoes easier to coordinate with everyday outfits while retaining their practicality.
