KITZ has adopted FineReport, a data visualization and DX low-code development tool, and has deployed approximately 70 applications across domestic and overseas sites since 2023, advancing the digitization of record-keeping and data integration.
KITZ, a comprehensive valve manufacturer, has announced a policy of reducing paper-based record management and consolidating on-site data entry and visualization on a single platform by adopting FineReport, which is strong in data visualization and integration with core system data. Since implementation began in 2023, approximately 70 types of applications have been deployed at plants in Japan and overseas. As a result, processes from report entry through data accumulation and visualization are now performed on a unified platform.
As part of a shop-floor-led initiative, operations including inventory and location management, receiving inspections, in-process inspections, production performance reporting, parts picking, manufacturing progress visualization and traceability management have been deployed on FineReport, enabling information retrieval using QR codes and real-time data entry. KITZ is also promoting “citizen development,” in which shop-floor personnel develop applications themselves, and is running an improvement cycle based on shop-floor needs.
