サイプレス・ホールディングス raised its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026 for both revenue and profit, with net profit expected to increase 80%. It also announced the recognition of deferred tax assets.
サイプレス・ホールディングス revised its full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026, raising revenue from the previous forecast of ¥12.30 billion to ¥12.88 billion. Operating profit is expected to improve from ¥850 million to ¥880 million, while net profit is projected to rise substantially from ¥520 million to ¥790 million.
The company cited strong customer traffic and average spend per customer across the company, including at new stores, as well as improved labor productivity at its stores, as factors driving the increase in profit.
In light of its expected future performance, the company decided to recognize deferred tax assets deemed recoverable, and is expected to record an approximately ¥240 million gain from adjustments to corporate income taxes and other taxes.
The share price appears to be showing signs of forming a short-term bottom, but has remained in a correction phase since reaching a record high in September. Attention is focused on whether it can recover to around its 25-day moving average.
