サイプレス・ホールディングス raised its forecast for consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ending August 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥520 million to ¥780 million. It also raised its second-half net profit forecast to ¥580 million, significantly improving its full-year earnings outlook.
サイプレス・ホールディングス, a Japanese listed company, announced that it had raised its IFRS-based forecast for consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ending August 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥520 million to ¥780 million. The forecast profit growth rate is now expected to expand significantly, from the previous level in the high teens to around 80%.
At the same time, the company sharply raised its forecast for second-half consolidated net profit from ¥315 million to ¥580 million, with plans to further increase its full-year profit level. Following the revision, EPS is ¥45.5, while the dividend remains ¥10.
Under the newly announced full-year plan for the current fiscal year, revenue was revised from ¥6,195 million to ¥6,773 million, operating profit from ¥481 million to ¥506 million, ordinary profit from ¥431 million to ¥449 million, and net profit from ¥315 million to ¥580 million. The company has further increased its forecast for record-high profit for the fourth consecutive fiscal year.
The company attributed the revision to solid trends in customer numbers and average customer spending across the group, including new stores, during the fourth-quarter consolidated accounting period, as well as improvements in store labor productivity. An increase in the income tax adjustment resulting from the recognition of deferred tax assets also contributed to the upside in net profit.
