Nextorage has announced ATOMOS's new SHINOBI 7 II for the Japanese market, with sales starting on Amazon on 7 October 2026. The estimated market price is ¥84,980, including tax, and the Amazon product page is scheduled to go live on the same day.
The SHINOBI 7 II is a 7-inch monitor featuring a high-brightness HDR touchscreen with brightness of up to 2,800 nits. It makes it easier to check exposure and focus during outdoor shooting in daylight, and supports Log, PQ and HLG signals to display more than 10 stops of dynamic range in real time.
It features camera control via USB-C, allowing users to connect compatible cameras, set the focus point from the touchscreen, and intuitively adjust white balance, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. It also includes a shutter release function.
The unit supports calibration, helping maintain accurate color reproduction on location. It also supports 3D LUTs, enabling a real-time preview of the image after color grading during filming. It weighs approximately 401g, has a 7-inch display with 1920×1080 resolution, measures 188×120×23mm, and supports USB-C PD and other power sources.
