Nextorage has announced ATOMOS's new SHINOBI 7 II. The 7-inch high-brightness HDR monitor supports exposure judgment, with sales scheduled to begin on Amazon on 7 October 2026 at an estimated price of ¥84,980, including tax.
Nextorage Corporation, ATOMOS's authorized general distributor in Japan, announced the new SHINOBI 7 II model and stated that sales will begin on Amazon on 7 October 2026. Compared with the previous model, it is thinner and lighter, improving flexibility when setting up a camera despite its large screen. SHINOBI 7 II is a 7-inch monitor equipped with an HDR touchscreen offering up to 2,800 nits of brightness. It ensures visibility even during outdoor shooting in daylight, making it easier to check exposure and focus.
The unit supports Log, PQ and HLG signals and displays more than 10 stops of dynamic range in real time. It enables accurate monitoring with HDR finishing after color grading in mind, helping to reduce blown-out highlights and crushed blacks. It also features camera control via USB-C, allowing users to set the focus point and adjust white balance, aperture, shutter speed and ISO from the monitor. A shutter-release function also enables photographs to be taken directly from the monitor.
