It will explain the overall framework of the Employment for Skill Development Program ahead of its launch in April 2027, as well as how to choose between Employment for Skill Development and Specified Skilled Worker.
A free online seminar on the use of foreign workers in the nursing care sector will be held in Zoom webinar format by ヒューマンライフケア株式会社 from 15:00 to 16:00 on 27 October 2026. The seminar will provide an in-depth explanation of the overall framework of the Employment for Skill Development Program, scheduled to take effect in April 2027, and how to use it in nursing care settings.
The seminar will compare the advantages and disadvantages and intake limits of the Employment for Skill Development Program and Specified Skilled Worker, explain how to choose between them based on facility type, including special nursing homes, geriatric health services facilities, hospitals and home-visit nursing care, and address challenges involving language, training and retention. Participants will also receive a comparison table of the two programs and individual consultations on intake simulations.
ヒューマンライフケア株式会社 has operated nursing care services since 1999 and, as of October 2026, operates 177 facilities nationwide. It is stated to have introduced more than 1,000 foreign nursing care workers with Specified Skilled Worker status to more than 300 facilities nationwide, and to have accepted approximately 200 foreign nursing care workers at its own facilities.
