トリケミカル研究所 reported net sales of ¥14.7 billion, operating income of ¥3.8 billion, ordinary income of ¥4.5 billion, and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥3.4 billion for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2027, all reaching record highs. Demand for high-purity chemical compounds for semiconductors was strong, particularly for DRAM High-k materials in China.
トリケミカル研究所 reported net sales of ¥14.7 billion for the second quarter (interim period) of the fiscal year ending January 2027, up 18.8% year on year. Results were approximately ¥1 billion above the initial plan, supported by solid demand for high-purity chemical compounds for semiconductors. Operating income was ¥3.8 billion, ordinary income was ¥4.5 billion, and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥3.4 billion, with all three reaching record highs.
By region, DRAM High-k materials for China performed well, while demand from Taiwan was also solid. In contrast, sales to Japan declined due to difficulties procuring raw materials for germanium materials used in optical fiber. The results confirmed a structure in which production and procurement conditions have a direct impact on earnings.
