ZETA announced that it would extend the period for acquiring treasury shares again, through the end of December. The acquisition limit remains 200,000 shares and ¥35 million, while cumulative acquisitions as of 24 September totaled 32,200 shares at an acquisition cost of ¥7,616,800.
ZETA announced that it would further extend the period for acquiring treasury shares from the original 30 September deadline to 31 December.
The acquisition limit remains unchanged at 200,000 shares, equivalent to 0.98% of the total number of issued shares excluding treasury shares, and ¥35 million.
The company had been making acquisitions while assessing market conditions and share-price levels, but suspended acquisitions during part of the period to address matters including insider-trading regulations, leaving part of the original acquisition quota unused. As of 24 September, cumulative acquisitions totaled 32,200 shares, with an acquisition cost of ¥7,616,800.
The extension could affect the company’s future acquisition policy as it determines how to handle the unused portion.
