To streamline infrastructure inspections by local governments, パシフィックコンサルタンツ and OPTiM CORPORATION have added infrastructure inspection functionality to Geo Scan, a millimetre-level smartphone surveying service, and begun providing it.
パシフィックコンサルタンツ株式会社 and OPTiM CORPORATION entered into a business partnership to streamline infrastructure inspection operations for local governments and developed the Infrastructure Inspection Mini-App as an extension of Geo Scan, a high-precision smartphone surveying service accurate to the millimetre. The service has been available since 7 October 2026.
The Infrastructure Inspection Mini-App includes inspection sheets for residential land retaining walls subject to the Act on Regulation of Residential Land Development and Specified Embankments, as well as inspection sheets for monitoring embankment conditions. These can be entered and managed on a smartphone. Location information is automatically linked to photographic data, helping prevent data mix-ups and support prioritisation decisions.
Geo Scan provides functions for surveying, calculations and drawing creation in addition to inspection and diagnosis, enabling local government employees to handle operations ranging from on-site surveying through management as part of their daily work.
