太陽のトマト麺, a specialty tomato ramen chain, will begin selling its autumn limited-edition creation, Spicy Tomato Mala Tang (太陽の旨辛トマト麻辣湯), a tomato-flavored take on mala tang, on 18 September.
太陽のトマト麺, a specialty tomato ramen chain, has announced its autumn limited-edition new menu item, Spicy Tomato Mala Tang (太陽の旨辛トマト麻辣湯), made by simmering standard mala tang ingredients in tomato soup. Sales will begin on 18 September.
Customers can choose from spice levels 1 to 5, with additional toppings also available for further customization.
The product is called Spicy Tomato Mala Tang (太陽の旨辛トマト麻辣湯) and is priced at ¥1,280, including tax. It is scheduled to be available from 18 September 2026 through the end of November at all 16 locations.
太陽のトマト麺 is a new-style ramen combining the umami of tomatoes with the heat of mala spices. Its ingredients include nine items, including fish roe dumplings, chicken meatballs, Edo-na greens, straw mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts and onions, simmered in tomato soup.
