Niigata City will hold Round 2 of “Free Bus Day with the App.” On 3 November, it will distribute free ride passes for city routes and hold collaboration events, with advance applications required.
Round 2 will be held on 3 November, Culture Day, while Round 1 has already ended. Applications for Round 2 will be accepted from 19 October through 2 November, and applicants are required to register in advance on the app and apply for a free one-day pass.
Eligible services include city route buses, ward buses and community buses. Airport limousine buses, express buses and some other services are excluded. Information materials explaining the application process and how to use the passes have been provided.
As part of the collaboration events and stamp rally, benefits and prizes will be available at facilities and events around the city. The stamp rally will hold a prize draw for participants who scan the QR codes at designated locations and collect 3 or more stamps.
The smartphone classes require reservations and will be held on 20, 21, 27 and 29 October. Information is provided on applications and items to bring when attending.
