As part of the alliance, 昭栄薬品 will make a capital investment in エアロネクスト, and the two companies will collaborate as long-term strategic partners. They aim to evolve beyond the conventional sale of products by combining agrochemicals and drone technology to develop a solutions business encompassing delivery, spraying and construction.
昭栄薬品 has expanded as a specialist chemicals trading company centered on oleochemicals made from natural oils and fats, and also supplies functional products based on surfactants. エアロネクスト, meanwhile, operates collaborative development and licensing businesses centered on its 4D GRAVITY center-of-gravity control technology, the SkyHub business through its subsidiaries, and drone operations.
The two companies are considering combining their respective technologies and expertise to evolve into a solutions business that delivers products at the optimal time, place and using the optimal method, and provides services including spraying and construction, across a broad range of fields such as agriculture, wildlife damage control, disaster prevention and infrastructure inspections. The capital investment is positioned as a strategic alliance aimed at promoting joint business initiatives over the medium to long term.
