The “Dai Chuo Ward Exhibition,” bringing together the food and craftsmanship of Chuo City, will be held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from 21 to 26 October 2026 (Wednesday to Monday). The store’s “JAPAN SENSES” event will also take place during the same period.
As part of the Chuo City Tourism and Commerce Festival, the 16th Tokyo “Taste and Craftsmanship from the Heart of the City” Dai Chuo Ward Exhibition will open at the Event Hall on the 7th floor of the Main Building of the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. This year marks the event’s 16th edition, and it will run from 21 to 26 October.
A diverse selection of stores from across Chuo City, including Nihombashi, Ginza, Tsukiji and Hatchobori, will gather at the venue, with more than 40 vendors participating. The eat-in offerings will include collaborative food products created by culinary professionals, such as a futomaki roll combining Sushi Ginza Onodera’s sushi and Iseshige’s sukiyaki.
The venue will also feature a “Famous Restaurants Food Court” and special features on traditional crafts and Japanese accessories, showcasing Chuo City’s food culture and manufacturing traditions. Events on the floor are scheduled to include products and demonstrations offering visitors the chance to experience Edo-style flavors and artisans’ skills.
The “JAPAN SENSES” event, held concurrently, will also take place at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store and its New Building from 21 October to 3 November, with featured products presented on each floor. Prices shown during the event include consumption tax, and inventory availability may change.
