SS&C Blue Prism announced the launch of the Japanese version of WorkHQ. It aims to optimize company-wide AI use by centrally managing people, AI agents, APIs and digital workers.
SS&C Blue Prism announced on 7 October that it would begin offering the Japanese version of the agentic automation platform “SS&C Blue Prism WorkHQ.” The platform can centrally manage people, AI agents, APIs and digital workers, and aims to advance AI use toward company-wide optimization. The reference price starts at ¥7,084,600 per year.
The announcement was positioned under the theme “Business transformation in the age of AI agents,” against the backdrop of companies adopting generative AI without linking it to business transformation. Hase (長谷) positioned his company as “Customer Zero” and emphasized its role in delivering results to customers through actual operations.
Citing an IPA survey on generative AI use by Japanese companies, he explained that the adoption rate was 44%, while only 11.9% of companies had integrated it into business processes. Japan's lag behind the United States and Europe was noted, and he said the challenge lies not in generative AI itself but in the barriers to its use.
The company identified 3 barriers: between AI and business operations, between systems, and within AI itself. It said it would promote efforts to remove these barriers through WorkHQ. The presentation featured the company's president, Hase (長谷), and vice president.
