SS&C Blue Prism announced the Japanese version of its WorkHQ business automation platform. The new platform combines AI agents and RPA with the company's existing track record and expertise, and proposes operations strengthened with security and governance features.
SS&C Blue Prism formally announced the Japanese version of WorkHQ for the Japanese market on 7 October. It positions the platform as a latest-generation business automation platform integrating AI agents and RPA, offered with SS&C's field experience and expertise built in.
The company's vice president, Uchida (内田), identified 3 barriers arising when AI agents are introduced and explained that WorkHQ is intended to overcome them by dividing orchestration and execution responsibilities and ensuring governance.
WorkHQ integrates SaaS connections with LLMs and third-party AI agents with legacy-system RPA execution, providing governance features including security, auditing and data encryption. In live operations, more than 3,400 production operations and more than 3,500 RPAs are running, and the platform is said to have achieved approximately ¥30 billion in annual cost savings and 40% EBITDA.
The Japanese version provides a Japanese-language UI and documentation. Its usage model has 4 tiers based on annual execution volume. The first-year reference price for Tier 1, “Discover,” is ¥7,084,600 per year, while unlimited Tier 4 is offered by custom quotation. There are 21 domestic sales partners.
Uchida said that results can be achieved quickly particularly in areas such as data reconciliation and unstructured document processing in back-office operations, and that reconciling business information and using diverse AI agents are effective.
