KAWANISHI WAREHOUSE reported operating revenue of ¥26.4 billion and net income of ¥636 million for the fiscal year ended March 2026, both below the previous year, while forecasting operating revenue of ¥30.0 billion and operating profit of ¥1.2 billion for the fiscal year ending March 2027. The results pointed to a business outlook shaped by M&A initiatives and the effects of reconstruction.
For the fiscal year ended March 2026, KAWANISHI WAREHOUSE reported operating revenue of ¥26.4 billion, up 3.4% year on year, and secured higher operating profit of ¥1.115 billion, up 8.6%. However, ordinary profit fell 11.6% to ¥1.042 billion, while net income attributable to owners of the parent declined 14.8% to ¥636 million. Although the effects of reconstruction have begun to emerge to some extent, foreign exchange effects and M&A-related expenses were cited as factors behind the decline in profit.
Domestic logistics generated revenue of ¥21.484 billion and operating profit of ¥1.824 billion, securing higher revenue and profit. Contributing factors included increased cargo volumes, growth in port transportation, expanded asset-light operations and contributions from subsidiaries acquired through M&A. International logistics, on the other hand, generated revenue of ¥4.532 billion, up 1.3% year on year, but operating profit fell 8.5% to ¥163 million, due to lower ocean freight rates. Other businesses generated revenue of slightly more than ¥400 million and operating profit of ¥249 million.
