Kushikatsu Tanaka will carry out the first major rebranding in the brand's history on 4 September 2026. Under a new brand statement, it will launch 5 initiatives, including offering unlimited highballs for ¥100, to improve customer satisfaction.
Against a backdrop of rising living costs, the brand has undertaken a rebranding aimed at creating restaurants that customers will continue to love for years to come. In addition to the logo, the restaurant concept has been revamped, and 5 initiatives will be rolled out in earnest under the new brand statement, “Tanaka again today!”
Challenge ① is an initiative to offer unlimited highballs for ¥100 per glass (¥110 including tax). Challenge ② pursues everyday use by cutting the price of selected standard drinks to ¥290 per glass (¥319 including tax). Eligible drinks include Jim Beam Highballs and various sours.
Challenge ③ upgrades the signature skewer to the “Unlimited Extra-Garlic Hormone Skewer,” priced at ¥50 per skewer (¥55 including tax). Challenge ④ involves developing “Liver-and-Chive Stir-Fry” as a new signature item, an experiential menu item cooked at the table, with an emphasis on its generous portion. Challenge ⑤ introduces 4 new pork hormone kushikatsu varieties, each priced at ¥150 (¥165 including tax).
The rebranding aims to improve customer satisfaction and achieve both everyday usability and enjoyment through the 5 initiatives.
