MonotaRO has launched a service on its online shopping site that allows customers to register weekdays when they cannot receive deliveries in advance, so that the requested delivery date automatically avoids those weekdays. Up to 5 weekdays can be registered for each location, with the service aimed at reducing redeliveries and optimizing logistics.
MonotaRO has launched a new service on its online shopping site that allows customers to specify delivery weekdays in advance. When customers set weekdays on which they cannot receive deliveries when placing an order, a date that avoids those weekdays is selected automatically.
The service expands the "Preferred Delivery Date Selection Service" launched in August. To accommodate different non-operating days at each location, customers can register up to 5 weekdays on which they cannot receive deliveries. The service also applies to customers who wish to receive deliveries at multiple locations.
Because customers no longer need to specify a date, the service is expected to help prevent redeliveries caused by deliveries scheduled on non-operating days. With this enhancement, MonotaRO aims to improve customer convenience and optimize logistics.
