The ALERTON disaster preparedness operations support system has begun service for local governments. As its first implementation, an agreement on support during disasters was concluded with Kozagawa, Wakayama Prefecture, on 18 September. The free-of-charge provision period runs from 18 September 2026 to 31 March 2028, and implementation is progressing with operation during normal times also envisioned. The company aims to promote disaster preparedness DX by developing partnerships with local governments nationwide.
ALERTON consolidates disaster, weather and evacuation shelter information on a single map and displays it together with hazard maps held by local governments. The system is designed to encourage users to become familiar with its operation during normal times. In the field, damage information can be reported via a smartphone web form and reflected on the map. Disaster response headquarters can obtain an overview of damage, the number of evacuees and weather information.
