Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced LOV-26A-1JR from the winter-limited special pair watch set G PRESENTS LOVER’S COLLECTION. Applications open 1 November and the product goes on sale 20 November. Based on the G-SHOCK DW-5600, the set features a special design depicting angel and devil symbols, and includes a BABY-G version.
G PRESENTS LOVER’S COLLECTION was launched as a 30th-anniversary model for the series and is a collaboration with Girls Don’t Cry, led by graphic artist VERDY. The background is a true story about the BABY-G that VERDY first gave to his wife, with devil and angel symbols specially designed for the watches.
The G-SHOCK is based on the square-shaped DW-5600, with a band featuring a logo pattern in glossy black ink and an original devil illustration on the case back. The keeper has a heart-shaped cutout, a pink butterfly appears when the backlight is on, and the watch is water-resistant to 20 bar. The BABY-G is based on the BG-565, with a black resin face, a band featuring a white logo pattern, and an angel illustration engraved on the case back. A green butterfly appears when the backlight is on, and the watch is water-resistant to 10 bar.
The set comes with an original pouch in an exclusive design. Other features include a mechanism that allows the two watches to be connected and carried together using snaps on the back, and a zipper with a gold heart charm.
