アサンテ raised its full-year ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 from the previous forecast of ¥200 million to ¥460 million, or 2.3 times higher. Ordinary profit for July-September rose sharply year on year, and the projected full-year loss is expected to narrow.
アサンテ, which announced its results on 5 November, reported a year-on-year decline in consolidated ordinary profit for April-September, but raised its full-year forecast from the previous ¥200 million to ¥460 million. Based on the first-half plan, ordinary profit for the second half is expected to be a loss of ¥186 million.
Ordinary profit for the latest three-month period, July-September, was ¥442 million, up year on year, and the operating profit margin on sales also improved. The scale of the revision based on first-half results and the previous forecast was substantial, leading to the view that the likelihood of achieving the full-year plan had increased.
Under the revised forecast for the current fiscal year, revenue is expected to increase, while operating profit, ordinary profit and net profit are expected to improve significantly. Compared with the previous forecast, ordinary profit has been revised up 2.3-fold, while net profit has also been revised sharply higher.
Quarter-by-quarter trends for the current fiscal year show no apparent factors driving changes from the previous year or downward revision of the projected loss, and the expected return to profitability in the second half remains subject to uncertainty.
