Daiwa House Industry President Otomo Koji (大友浩嗣) says that a song by Arai Yumi (荒井由実) introduced on a radio programme prompted his interest in music from middle school onward. He also said he was influenced enough to buy Arai Yumi's (荒井由実) “Hikōkigumo.”
He began taking a serious interest in music around middle school, prompted by radio broadcasts.
He also noted that only 4 albums had been released under the name Arai Yumi (荒井由実) before her marriage, and spoke about the beginnings of his interest in music and how it developed thereafter.
