Makoto Kensetsu Kogyo revised its ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 up from the previous forecast of a ¥15 million profit to a ¥20 million profit. The full-year ordinary profit forecast was left unchanged at the previous forecast of ¥105 million.
Makoto Kensetsu Kogyo revised its consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter (April-September) of the fiscal year ending March 2027 up to a ¥20 million profit. This represents a 33.3% increase from the previous forecast of a ¥15 million profit. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged at ¥105 million.
In its explanation of interim standalone results, the company cited handovers of subdivision homes exceeding the initial plan as a factor behind the increase in net sales, with an increase in the number of units year on year also contributing. As a result, the gross profit margin was below plan, suggesting that ordinary profit could fall short of the forecast, but overall the earnings results led to an upward revision.
In the comparison of the previous and revised first-half figures reflecting the current-fiscal-year revision, net sales are expected to exceed the previous outlook, while revised ordinary profit is projected at ¥20 million and net profit at approximately ¥13 million. The revision was based on the interim-period results, while the full-year forecast remains unchanged.
