MIXI will exhibit its conversational AI robot Romi at CEATEC 2026 and present demonstrations using RomiCore SDK. The company plans to demonstrate connectivity between Romi and external devices, as well as applications that convey environmental data.
During CEATEC 2026, MIXI will exhibit Romi, its conversational AI robot, at Makuhari Messe and present demonstrations using the RomiCore SDK. The booth will showcase not only interactions with the robot, but also demonstrations leveraging the development platform.
The demonstrations will focus on using RomiCore SDK to connect Romi with various devices and services. Two connectivity demonstrations are planned, featuring a humanoid robot and a temperature and humidity sensor.
In the demonstration involving the humanoid robot, Romi will connect with an external robot to show how it can serve as an interface linking people and devices. The demonstration involving the temperature and humidity sensor will show how changes in surrounding environmental conditions can be conveyed through conversation.
Romi is a palm-sized robot equipped with proprietary conversational AI. The Lacatan model includes features such as vision and long-term memory. The booth will be located at 4H531 in Hall 4’s “X (Transformation) Park.”
