For the fiscal year ending June 2027, 一正蒲鉾 expects revenue of ¥38,600 million, up 8.6% year on year, and operating profit of ¥800 million, up 30.7%. Profit growth is expected from price revisions and expanded sales of core products, as well as the mushroom business moving into profitability. The company is also advancing overseas expansion and Phase 1 of its medium-term plan, which begins in the current fiscal year.
For the fiscal year ending June 2027, 一正蒲鉾 expects consolidated revenue of ¥38,600 million, operating profit of ¥800 million, ordinary profit of ¥800 million, and profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥480 million, representing year-on-year increases of 8.6%, 30.7%, 51.2%, and 47.1%, respectively. The operating profit margin is expected to improve from 1.7% in the previous fiscal year to 2.1%. Price revisions and expanded sales of processed seafood products, prepared foods, and core products, as well as the mushroom business moving into profitability, are expected to contribute. However, cost pressures, including persistently high raw material costs and higher packaging material and logistics expenses, are expected to continue, limiting the recovery in profit.
By business segment, the processed seafood products and prepared foods segment is expected to generate revenue of ¥33,800 million and segment profit of ¥620 million. The company will implement price revisions while maintaining and expanding sales volumes by strengthening promotions. Higher prices for Alaska pollock surimi from North America and rising raw material costs are expected to weigh on profit, with the profit margin forecast to decline from 2.4% in the previous fiscal year to 1.8%. Overseas, under its global partner strategy, the company is expanding and renegotiating transactions with partners including IKF, aiming to improve the profitability of its overseas operations.
