クリングルファーマ raised its current fiscal year net income/loss forecast from the previously projected ¥1.02 billion net loss to a ¥790 million net loss. The second-half net income/loss forecast was also revised to a ¥280 million net loss, along with an upward revision to the revenue forecast.
クリングルファーマ announced a revision to its consolidated earnings forecast for the current fiscal year ending September 2026 after the market close on 16 September. The previously projected net loss was ¥1.02 billion, but the loss is now expected to narrow to ¥790 million. The company reported a ¥910 million net loss in the previous year.
The net income/loss forecast for the second half of the current fiscal year was also revised, with the loss expected to narrow from the previous forecast of ¥500 million to ¥280 million. Revenue is expected to improve from the previous forecast of ¥296 million to ¥406 million, operating income/loss from -¥503 million to -¥285 million, and ordinary income/loss from -¥505 million to -¥283 million.
The revenue increase reflects the recognition of a ¥100 million upfront payment under an agreement for a treatment for vocal cord scarring in Japan, in connection with the restructuring with 丸石製薬. On the cost side, the company expects current-period expenses to decrease by approximately ¥108 million due to a timing shift in product development expenses, and revised each profit item accordingly.
Under the revised figures, second-half revenue is ¥406 million, operating income/loss is -¥285 million, ordinary income/loss is -¥283 million, net income/loss is -¥283 million, and dividends per share are ¥0. All figures were announced on 16 September 2026 and calculated on a non-consolidated basis.
