Rasa Corporation raised its forecast for ordinary income for the cumulative second quarter (April–September) of the fiscal year ending March 2027 by 53.3%, from ¥600 million to ¥920 million, and increased its full-year ordinary income forecast by 7.3%, from ¥2.75 billion to ¥2.95 billion.
Rasa Corporation announced a revision to its earnings forecasts after the evening trading session on 23 October, raising its forecast for consolidated ordinary income for the cumulative second quarter of the current fiscal year from ¥600 million to ¥920 million. Ordinary income in the same period of the previous fiscal year was ¥1.01 billion. As a result, the outlook for first-half earnings has improved.
The full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary income was also revised upward, from ¥2.75 billion to ¥2.95 billion. Ordinary income in the previous fiscal year was ¥3.22 billion, so the expected rate of decline is now projected to be smaller.
The reasons for the revision included strong sales and servicing of pump components in the industrial machinery and construction equipment-related businesses and the environmental equipment-related business, the acquisition of large-scale projects such as recycling equipment construction, and increased demand for chemical products.
