KELA and Hitachi Solutions signed a cybersecurity cooperation agreement for the Japanese market. The cooperation covers both the MSSP and reseller models and will accelerate the implementation of Active Cyber Defense.
KELA and Hitachi Solutions have entered into a cooperation agreement to deploy cybersecurity solutions in the Japanese market. The agreement covers both an MSSP model, under which Hitachi Solutions will use KELA's solutions to provide managed security services, and a reseller model involving the resale and deployment of KELA solutions.
The 3 main solutions to be provided through the cooperation are the KELA CTI Platform for cyber threat intelligence, the ULTRARED CTEM Platform for continuous visibility into public-facing assets and risk validation, and the SLING TPRM Platform for continuously assessing and managing third-party risk. The cooperation will combine KELA's intelligence infrastructure with Hitachi Solutions' operational capabilities to provide consistent support for identifying early warning signs and implementing countermeasures.
The stated objective is to promote the transition beyond conventional passive defense to Active Cyber Defense, which anticipates attackers' movements and prevents attacks proactively. Comments from Hitachi Solutions emphasized delivering integrated intelligence and immediate proactive countermeasures, and indicated a policy aimed at improving customers' cyber resilience.
