ラック of Japan and リッケイ signed a memorandum of understanding on 8 October 2026 for a comprehensive business partnership aimed at expanding their operations in the cybersecurity field. The partnership comes against a backdrop of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks accompanying the overseas expansion of Japanese companies and a shortage of cybersecurity personnel. In the APAC region, establishing operational capabilities has become a challenge. ラック is working to build an overseas business platform by leveraging local talent and delivery capabilities, while リッケイ is presenting the value of the partnership through the strengths of its group-wide technology and talent-development network, including its Japanese entity.
The partnership is focused on 2 areas. The companies plan to discuss specific initiatives, role allocations and terms, while considering expansion into the Vietnam and APAC markets from Japan. Their representatives have outlined their respective plans to extend Japan's cybersecurity expertise across APAC and to connect talent development with actual projects.
