SLD announced its earnings, with net income for the current fiscal year reportedly turning to a loss and its full-year forecast revised down from a profit outlook to a loss.
SLD released its earnings after the market closed on 15 October. Non-consolidated net loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March-August) was ¥15 million, while the company reportedly posted a profit in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The full-year forecast for the same earnings measure was also revised down from the previous forecast of a ¥135 million profit to a net loss of ¥52 million. The previous fiscal year reportedly ended with a profit.
Based on first-half results and the second-half plan, net loss for the September-February period is expected to be ¥37 million, a decline from the ¥5 million profit recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The company also announced that its year-end dividend remains undecided.
