Happinet raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the second quarter (interim period) of the fiscal year ending March 2027. Net sales are expected to increase by ¥30 billion from the previous forecast to ¥230 billion, operating profit by ¥5.7 billion to ¥13.5 billion, ordinary profit by ¥5.5 billion to ¥13.5 billion, and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent by ¥4 billion to ¥9 billion. Interim earnings per share has been raised from the previous forecast of ¥114.36 to ¥205.85. Results for the previous fiscal year after the stock split are presented for reference.
The strong performance is attributed to higher sales of lottery products in the toy business, trading cards and capsule toys in the amusement business. The full-year consolidated earnings forecast remains unchanged from the previous forecast because the outlook for the year-end shopping season is uncertain.
