The foodservice-focused foreign-worker recruitment service “Foodservice Job Listings.com Global” began operating in October 2026 using AI interviews. It reduces the burden on employers by organizing candidates' residence status, Japanese-language ability, experience and employment conditions in advance and introducing them to companies.
The foodservice-focused foreign-worker recruitment service “Foodservice Job Listings.com Global” will launch in October 2026. The service uses AI interviews to check and organize in advance employment-related constraints such as residence status, Japanese-language ability, work experience, and the handling of food and alcoholic beverages, then introduces candidates to companies with the required information assembled.
The AI interview reads the residence card and collects basic information, then uses voice-based checks to identify residence status, period of stay, desired occupation and preferred work location. An AI avatar also asks questions in Japanese about work history, strengths and constraints specific to restaurant work. Companies can assess candidates' actual Japanese-language ability and responses, while job seekers can demonstrate communication skills in addition to Japanese-language qualifications.
The interview results are automatically used to prepare candidate summaries, Japanese-language reviews, résumés and career histories. Companies can proceed with screening with the information required for selection already assembled. Another feature is that there are no initial or listing fees, with charges incurred only when hiring is finalized.
Going forward, the service aims to reduce mismatches between foreign job seekers living in Japan and restaurants by expanding the AI interview's assessment items and improving its accuracy.
