テスホールディングス announced on 20 October 2026 that its consolidated subsidiary, テス・エンジニアリング, had won an order from 糺の森 to install a grid-scale battery storage facility. The facility will be located in Kani, Gifu Prefecture, with storage capacity of approximately 6.3 MWh. Delivery is scheduled for March 2027.
The facility will have PCS output of approximately 1,999 kW and storage capacity of approximately 6,266 kWh, and is expected to use 26 Huawei battery storage units. The テス Group has brought the entire grid-scale battery storage process in-house and has established a structure that enables it to provide an integrated range of services, from site development through design, procurement and construction to post-commissioning maintenance and aggregation.
The order comes against a backdrop of growing demand for power-grid stabilization as renewable energy expands. The テス Group is steadily building up its track record and order book in battery storage as it works toward the targets of its TX2030 medium-term management plan.
The テス Group said it will continue to deepen its service offerings, including support for participation in electricity markets through operational management. These initiatives are expected to contribute to stabilizing electricity supply and demand across the region.
