意徳士科技 reported a 47% year-on-year increase in net profit after tax for FY2026 Q2, with EPS reaching a record NT$5.25. Zhudong Plant No. 2 is scheduled to begin operations in the first half of next year.
In its results for the second quarter of 2026, 意徳士科技 reported consolidated revenue of NT$428 million, approximately ¥2.2 billion, up approximately 12% from the same period a year earlier. Gross margin rose to 41%, operating profit was approximately NT$106 million, and net profit after tax was NT$151 million, up 47% year on year. EPS reached NT$5.25, indicating that earnings growth outpaced revenue growth.
Against a backdrop of constrained production capacity, the company is targeting completion and commencement of operations at the second phase of its Zhudong plant in the first half of 2027, while also proceeding with the acquisition of land for a third plant. Approximately 79% of the NT$433 million raised in 2025 was allocated to plant construction investment, and the company is also using sustainability transition financing, including green bonds.
Supplies of products compatible with 2-nanometer processes are expanding, and the company’s core product portfolio is growing in front-end components, including perfluoroelastomer sealing materials. Customer recognition is also increasing, as demonstrated by the company’s receipt of TSMC’s “Production Support and ESG Collaboration Award.” In Japan, the company is expanding through its subsidiary TSS, while supplies to the front-end supply chain through 德鑫聯盟 are also increasing.
The latter part of the earnings briefing included indications regarding “important information” for the fourth quarter of the second half, but the company’s chairman refrained from providing specific disclosures while emphasizing the securing of land for the third plant and other preparations for future growth. Financial metrics remained stronger than the industry average, with ROIC at 22.88% and ROE at 17.33%. The debt ratio was 29% and the equity ratio was 71%, indicating that the company continues to maintain a sound financial position.
