テクノスマート rose for a third consecutive session after reporting standalone results for the six months ended September above its previous forecasts. The pull-forward of revenue recognition for some projects and cost reductions from production equipment upgrades were seen as positive factors.
テクノスマート is rising for a third straight session. Its standalone results for the six months ended September, announced after trading ended on the 22nd, were viewed positively after sales came in at ¥8.4 billion, up from the previous forecast of ¥7.5 billion, while operating profit rose to ¥1.1 billion from ¥670 million and net income to ¥750 million from ¥460 million.
The company said sales were lifted by the progress of some projects being recognized earlier than planned, as well as cost-reduction measures associated with production equipment upgrades and optimization of its production plans.
The company's shares continue to attract market attention on the back of these factors.
