Sinc and Sustainable Lab have entered into a business partnership. They will establish an integrated framework to support improvements in corporate value through the analysis of non-financial data and the implementation of integrated reporting.
Sinc announced a business partnership with Sustainable Lab, which specializes in non-financial data analysis. The partnership aims to analyze and visualize, using data, the relationship between non-financial initiatives such as ESG and human capital and corporate value, and to implement the results in disclosure materials including integrated reports. The two companies plan to establish a framework that provides integrated support across the entire process, from analysis and strategy design to the production of disclosure materials.
The partnership comes as Japan moves toward statutory disclosure of non-financial information, increasing demand for more specific, data-based accountability from companies to investors and other stakeholders. With the publication of SBJ standards and broader application expected from 2027 onward, an integrated framework capable of consistently producing integrated reports and translating management narratives is gaining importance.
The jointly provided services will comprise three areas: visualization of non-financial information and advancement of integrated reporting as the core service, AI readability assessments and disclosure improvements, and support for regional companies and financial institutions. By combining data analysis using the TERRAST data platform with companies' own data, the companies expect to propose KPIs showing links with financial indicators and implement them in disclosure materials.
Going forward, the companies plan to make joint proposals to listed and mid-sized companies and expand into support for regional companies by leveraging their regional networks. A key feature is that a single team will handle both improvement recommendations based on AI readability assessments and their implementation. In the longer term, collaboration with local governments and educational institutions is also under consideration.
