Sinc Co., Ltd. and Sustainable Lab will enter into a business partnership agreement and begin initiatives aimed at analysing and visualising non-financial data and implementing it in integrated reports. They plan to expand support by leveraging their networks with regional companies and financial institutions.
Sinc Co., Ltd. has entered into a business partnership agreement with Sustainable Lab, which specialises in non-financial data analysis. The partnership aims to analyse and visualise, using data, the relationship between non-financial initiatives such as ESG and human capital and corporate value. The two companies plan to establish a framework supporting the entire process, from analysis and development of a management narrative through to the production of disclosure materials for integrated reports.
A key feature of the partnership is the combination of Sustainable Lab’s non-financial database TERRAST with Sinc’s customer data to analyse the relationship between non-financial initiatives, financial metrics and corporate value. The analysis will also be used in integrated reports and in dialogue with management and investors, while the companies are considering creating synergies by leveraging their networks with regional companies and regional financial institutions.
The partnership comes as Japan moves toward shifting sustainability information from voluntary to statutory disclosure. Japan’s first sustainability disclosure standards were published in 2025, and the scope of companies subject to them is expected to expand from 2027. New disclosure items have also been added to securities reports, and more than 1,000 companies now publish integrated reports.
The partnership will provide integrated reports and websites with assessment and improvement recommendations based on an AI readability score as a bundled service, with expansion to regional companies also in view. The aim is to support disclosures that lead to higher corporate value through the visualisation of non-financial information.
