DevRev Japan and 株式会社ワークスアプリケーションズ signed a basic agreement on strategic collaboration to build an AI knowledge platform. The two companies aim to integrate WAP’s business knowledge with DevRev’s technology and establish a framework for validation and implementation support in the Japanese market.
DevRev Japan announced that it had signed a basic agreement on strategic collaboration with US-based DevRev, Inc. and 株式会社ワークスアプリケーションズ to build an AI knowledge platform. The collaboration aims to combine the business knowledge accumulated by WAP with DevRev’s knowledge graph and AI agent technologies to create a platform that enables AI to perform business operations using distributed data within companies.
Validation of the collaboration will begin within WAP, with the findings expected to inform consideration of joint development and an implementation support framework for the Japanese market. Specifically, the companies will explore ways to use data accumulated in WAP’s HUE ERP system and link it with internal business systems, documents, email, chat and other sources.
Comments from both companies emphasized the importance of a platform grounded in business context and knowledge for the use of AI, and outlined a policy of confirming its value through validation. WAP will position itself as the customer zero for the validation environment and explore mechanisms to support the retrieval of inquiry histories and understanding the reasons behind configurations and responses.
Going forward, the companies aim to build a knowledge platform that supports corporate decision-making through an AI-native platform connecting distributed data with business knowledge.
