DXYZ, a subsidiary of MIGALO HOLDINGS, has deployed its FreeiD facial recognition ID platform at Leaf Garden Urayasu, a rental apartment property developed by Keiyo Gas Real Estate.
This project involves the deployment of FreeiD, a facial recognition ID platform provided by DXYZ, a subsidiary of MIGALO HOLDINGS, at the entrance of Leaf Garden Urayasu, a rental apartment property being developed by Keiyo Gas Real Estate. The property is located in the Kita-Sakae area of Urayasu, a 5-minute walk from Urayasu Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, and comprises 43 rental units and 2 tenant spaces.
The stated aim of the deployment is to provide residents with the convenience of entering and exiting without taking out a key, using facial recognition alone, while also maintaining a high level of security. FreeiD enables facial recognition-based entry and exit and payments at entrances and common areas, and in some cases within individual units. The disclosure also states that the overall scale of deployments is expanding, building on the company's track record related to Japan's first "all-facial-recognition apartment building."
The property is scheduled for completion on 7 August 2026. Its address is 2-15-21 Kita-Sakae, Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, and it is a 5-minute walk from Urayasu Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. MIGALO HOLDINGS and DXYZ intend to continue promoting the provision of smart-city solutions using the facial recognition ID platform.
