Daito Trust Construction will introduce Linough Gate as an optional feature for newly built rental apartments covered by construction contracts signed from September onward. This will enable residents to unlock the entrance’s automatic lock simply by facing a dedicated terminal at the shared entrance.
The system includes a cloud-based intercom that connects with residents’ smartphones, allowing them to view video, hold voice calls, respond to visitors and remotely unlock the entrance from their smartphones even when they are away.
The system is provided by ライナフ. Its facial recognition function is expected to improve access flow by allowing residents to pass through the entrance without using conventional keys. Further developments and details will have to await a formal announcement.
