Amazia revised its consolidated bottom-line forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 upward, from the previously forecast loss to a profit. It also revised its second-half profit forecast to a profit, reflecting the transfer of its non-consolidated subsidiary and the expected recognition of extraordinary income.
Amazia announced an earnings revision after the market close on 25 August, revising its consolidated bottom-line forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 upward, from the previously forecast loss of ¥99 million to a profit. The company posted a loss in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The forecast for the second half of the current fiscal year was also revised. Consolidated bottom-line profit for the April-September period is now expected to be ¥89 million, up from the previous forecast of a ¥10 million loss. The company posted a loss in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The revision reflects the transfer of the non-consolidated subsidiary and the recognition of extraordinary income. Following the transfer of all shares in WithLinks to Mecha Comic, Amazia expects to record extraordinary income comprising a ¥91 million gain on the sale of shares in an affiliated company and an ¥8 million reversal of the allowance for doubtful accounts.
As a result, net income attributable to owners of the parent is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast, with current fiscal-year bottom-line profit expected to be ¥0. The new second-half plan and the impact of extraordinary income underpin the series of revisions.
