NAKABAYASHI CO.,LTD. has launched the new Compact Notebook, priced at ¥880 including tax, from early October 2026. The notebook is the same size as a CD case, takes up little space on a desk and is designed to open flat to 180°.
Its binding, which makes writing through to the spine comfortable, uses the patented Horizontal-Opening Notebook technology of 株式会社中村印刷所. The pages can be removed one at a time, making the notebook suitable for use as a memo pad. It is also designed to produce clean copies and scans without shadows.
The 6 designs are City Pop 1, City Pop 2, City Pop 3, City Pop 4, Photo and Disc. When stored, the notebook can be propped up in a corner of the desk and enjoyed as a fashion item.
